Job summary

Bunge in Council Bluffs, Iowa is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Operator on a rotating 4-on, 4-off shift. The role pays $28.56 per hour and focuses on safe operation of soybean processing equipment, data recording, and process control tasks essential to product quality and safety.

You will participate in safety plans, maintain housekeeping, and cross-train across plant areas to support continuous operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a safety conscious environment.
• Some mechanical background including the ability to recognize signs of operational failure.
• Good written and verbal communications skills.
• Must be able to read and write in English for record keeping and training.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in safety programs and maintain a safe work environment.
• Operate and control soybean processing equipment and machines.
• Record data, collect samples, and perform process control tests.
• Adjust and maintain operating parameters as required.
• Perform general housekeeping and support cross-training across process areas.
