Job summary

Bunge is seeking an Operator, S/R to perform shipping and receiving duties for rail, barge, and truck operations at our Illinois facility. The role requires rotating shifts, overtime, and on-call availability.

Pay is $28.05 per hour with a benefits package including health and retirement plans and paid vacation/holidays. Responsibilities include loading/unloading barges and rail cars, operating heavy equipment, and assisting with head operator duties as trained.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years or more of major industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and a high level of dedication to safety.
• Basic computer and mechanical skills.
• Ability to climb stairs/ladders.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload barges including removing covers, dozer and skid steer operation, mooring, hooking up oil hose, reading drafts, barge inspections, etc.
• Load and unload rail cars to include spotting cars, opening cars, switching, etc.
• Operate and service switch engine.
• Will be trained as head operator.
• Other duties as assigned.
