Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking Shipping and Receiving Associates with forklift experience for warehouse roles in Brea and surrounding areas. Multiple shifts are available; pay ranges from $18 to $22 per hour depending on position and experience.

Responsibilities include processing shipments, verifying documents, packing, staging, and operating forklifts. Candidates should have prior warehouse experience and be able to work in a fast-paced environment while

Qualifications

• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, inventory, or logistics experience preferred.
• Computer and accurate data-entry skills.
• Experience with BOLs, packing slips, shipping labels, and purchase orders preferred.
• ERP, WMS, or TMS warehouse systems experience is a plus.
• Forklift and pallet-jack experience preferred.
• Ability to accurately count, verify, label, and document materials.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and moving materials; steel-toe footwear may be required.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming and outgoing shipments accurately.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, labels, packing slips, purchase orders, and bills of lading.
• Pick, pack, label, stage, and prepare materials for shipment or put-away.
• Inspect materials for damage, shortages, overages, or other discrepancies.
• Enter and verify shipping, receiving, tracking, and inventory information.
• Use handheld scanners, computers, printers, and warehouse systems.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory verification.
• Communicate with carriers, warehouse employees, customer service teams, and leadership.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized shipping, receiving, and staging areas.
• Follow all warehouse procedures, PPE requirements, and safety rules.
