Job summary

Lineage Logistics in New Jersey seeks a warehouse associate to load, unload, and stage products using forklifts and RF scanners. You will verify inventory, inspect shipments, and label items for shipping while adhering to safety standards.

You must read and follow computerized work orders, lift up to 40 lbs, and work a flexible schedule. The role is onsite with cold and dry storage environments and a collaborative team atmosphere.

Job description

1st ShiftMonday-Friday 6:00AM -2:30PMOperate forklifts and pallet jacks to safely load, unload, transport, and stage products within the warehouse and on outbound and inbound trucks. Verify inventory accuracy, inspect shipments for quality and damage, and ensure proper product handling throughout the distribution process. Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and company safety standards, policies, and procedures while supporting efficient warehouse operations and timely order fulfillment.What you'll DoRead and follow computerized work orders to determine quantities and types of products to be shippedDetermine the location of requested items in the warehouseChange over pallets for picking, visually inspect items for damages or flawsDocument and report damages to supervisors or leadsPack, seal, and label materials/pallets for shipping using Radio Frequency (RF) scanning equipment to document and verify counts of picked itemsAlert appropriate leader of any issues with the product or materials and await directions to rectify the problemHelp clean and organize the warehouse at the end of the shiftWork with other machinery and material handling equipmentWhat you'll BringMust be able to identify products through reading, interpreting, and scanning pallet identification numbersAbility to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by Lineage LogisticsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gearMust be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.; weight may be more dependent upon facilityAbility to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if neededMust be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loudPay Range:$16.97 - $28.65Why Lineage?This is an excellent position to begin your career path within Lineage!
