Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, and communicate effectively with supervisors and staff.
• Experience with inventory control concepts and basic math is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Shipping/Receiving associates to maintain productivity, quality and safety.
• Notify customers of late, missed or short shipments.
• Ensure on-time delivery by shipping production requirements as released.
• Prepare daily pick sheets and distribute shippers once picks are complete.
• Provide on-call support for customer expedites and assist during vacations/absences.
