Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Manager to lead daily warehouse operations, ensuring safe unloading, storage, and same-day shipping of corrugated units. You will coordinate order picking, documentation, and timely customer deliveries while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

You will manage staff performance, provide coaching, enforce safety policies, and collaborate with carriers and other functions to optimize costs and service levels.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow job tickets.
• Working knowledge of basic math.
• Forklift driving experience required.
• Experience in corrugated industry and moving floor loaded materials preferred.
• Completion of forklift certification program and adherence to safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day shipping and receiving operations.
• Ensure accurate, on-time documentation for all orders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet delivery targets.
• Coach, mentor, and discipline staff per PMP schedule.
• Develop staff through cross-training and skill-building.
• Maintain safety and regulatory compliance in all activities.
• Coordinate with carriers to optimize cost and delivery times.
• Manage inventory accuracy and perform cycle counts.
• Support ERP usage for timely order documentation.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain Manager for proper inbound goods handling.
