Job summary

RTP Company is seeking a shipping and receiving worker to weigh and package materials, load and unload trucks, label stock, and process freight bills. The role includes operating packaging machinery, moving inventory, and ensuring accurate documentation in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to safety, basic computer skills, and the ability to pass forklift and respirator tests are required. Regular first shift with potential overtime; high school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Preferred high school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow manuals and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Document incoming raw material information.
• Load, unload, and pick materials as needed.
• Operate heavy material handling equipment.
• Move material to and from storage facilities.
• Ensure shipments are labeled and packed correctly.
• Obtain related documentation for each order.
• Assist with weigh-up or packaging machinery as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
• Overtime may be required, including weekends.
