Job summary

The candidate should have forklift certification and prior shipping/receiving experience is preferred. This is a non-exempt, on-site position in a dock/warehouse setting with potential overtime.

Responsibilities

• Bands material to pallets based on size and weight, using banding materials.
• Communicates with Logistics Coordinator using BOLs to verify shipments.
• Stages loading areas with equipment, materials and space.
• Receives incoming shipments and verifies against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Operates forklift to move materials and assists with loading/unloading.
• Notifies supervisor of major discrepancies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
