The Pivot Group Careers is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Lead in Ludington, MI. You will supervise the shipping area, coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, and ensure paperwork and loading plans are accurate.

Responsibilities include training new team members, assigning shifts, resolving shipment issues with purchasing and production, and maintaining inventory integrity through accurate data entry in the warehouse system.

Formación

• Experience with shipping software and inventory systems.
• Ability to read packing slips, bills of lading, and purchase orders accurately.
• Prior lead or supervisory experience on a small team.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three or more years in shipping, receiving, or warehouse work in a manufacturing setting.
• Forklift certification and experience operating a forklift safely.

Responsabilidades

• Train new team members on loading, paperwork, and safety procedures.
• Open the shipping area and review the day’s outbound orders and inbound deliveries.
• Assign work to shipping and receiving staff and confirm coverage for each shift.
• Check incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders and note shortages or damage.
• Prepare outbound shipments with correct labels, paperwork, and loading plans.
• Load and unload trucks and verify counts with drivers before signing off.
• Enter receipts, shipments, and inventory adjustments in the warehouse system.
• Resolve shipment errors, carrier delays, and inventory discrepancies with purchasing and production.
