Job summary

Chase Doors is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to manage movement of goods across a multi-shift operation. The role focuses on keeping production flowing and ensuring efficient material movement, Monday–Friday, 7am–3:30pm.

The position requires forklift supervision, strong teamwork, and rigorous attention to detail to maintain accuracy in shipments and records. A robust benefits package accompanies this role.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in warehousing, shipping and receiving, dock operations.
• Experience working with warehousing operations system.
• Excellent team building skills and attention to detail in material movement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities of workers engaged in verifying and keeping records for incoming/outgoing shipments.
• Prepare items for shipment by studying notices, bills of lading, invoices and orders.
• Determine space requirements and position shipments in trucks/boxcars.
• Inspect loading operations for compliance with shipping specs and secure loaded doors.
• Inspect material handling equipment and arrange repairs as needed.
• Direct movement of shipments from shipping area to storage/work areas.
• Post weights and shipping charges and prepare bills of lading.
• Assist workers in shipping and receiving activities.
