Job summary

FORTNA is seeking an experienced warehouse associate in Louisville to verify and prepare shipments, manage stock, and support receiving/shipping processes. You will operate forklifts and other material handling equipment, assist with cycle counts, and help maintain safety and accuracy in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in warehouse/fulfillment, ERP experience (Infor preferred), and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a warehouse/fulfillment environment.
• ERP experience required; Infor preferred.
• Must have intermediate computer user knowledge.
• Shipping and Receiving experience required.
• Knowledge of WMS and RF guns.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and ability to read a tape measure.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Schedule LTL and TL shipments.
• Review and process daily cycle counts.
• Lead daily safety talks and enforce safety policies.
• Train new Clerks and Material Handlers to meet standards.
• Lead Clerks and Material Handlers in daily functions.
• Operate lift trucks or hand trucks to move materials.
• Operate PB crimp tools (diagnosis, repair, processing).
• Operate stretch wrapping equipment.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Perform computer functions to track goods.
• Support receiving/shipping to meet customer stocking needs.
• Receive all materials designated for parts fulfillment.
• Report defective materials to department supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in work area.
• Arrange trucks for pickup per customer PO.
• Part Receiving/Stocking cross work; Part picking/shipping cross work.
