Job summary

7Seventy in Louisville, KY is seeking a dependable warehouse associate to support daily receiving, stocking, staging, picking, shipping, and inventory movement while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment. You will move materials accurately, complete warehouse transactions, and assist customers and internal teams.

Candidates should have 1+ year of warehouse experience, forklift exposure, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to pass forklift certification

Qualifications

• 1+ year of warehouse experience.
• 1+ year of industrial forklift experience is strongly preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and awareness of surroundings.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Ability to understand and follow warehouse instructions, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse that is not climate controlled.
• Ability to pass required forklift certification in-house within 30 days.
• Dependability and ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and transfer materials safely.
• Receive incoming items according to procedure and stock materials in assigned warehouse locations.
• Maintain inventory and assist with cycle counts.
• Complete will calls.
• Complete paperwork and transaction entries accurately and on time.
• Wear required PPE and follow warehouse safety procedures throughout the shift.
• Maintain warehouse equipment through housekeeping and pre- and post-shift forklift inspections.
• Assist customers and customer service representatives as needed.
• Follow standard operating procedures, work processes, and company policies.
• Complete other assigned warehouse duties as needed.
