Job summary

The Pivot Group Network is partnering with Coopersville-based companies to add Shipping & Receiving Leads to their teams. This role focuses on leading daily shipping and receiving operations, driving accuracy, and mentoring clerks while upholding inventory controls and safety standards.

Qualified candidates will have 3+ years in shipping/receiving or warehousing, with at least a year in a supervisory capacity, and forklift certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in shipping, receiving, or warehousing, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory capacity.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles and warehouse operations.
• Proficiency in using ERP/WMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and supervise a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Lead and train a team of shipping and receiving clerks.
• Implement and maintain inventory control procedures.
• Coordinate logistics with carriers and internal departments.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
• Troubleshoot and resolve shipping and receiving discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain shipping and receiving documentation.
