Job summary

Anderson Express is a women-owned, world-class manufacturer in Muskegon, MI, specializing in aluminum casting, CNC machining, and assembly for automotive, military, and power-gen markets. We seek a high-energy Shipping & Receiving Manager to lead our team and protect customer relationships through accurate, on-time material handling.

The role reports to the Operations Manager and focuses on safety, productivity, and continuous improvement to support growth and profitability.

Qualifications

7–10 years of shipping and receiving management or related role.
Manufacturing experience; Tier 1 automotive (Ford) exposure preferred.
MRP/ERP experience; Global Shop Solutions experience is a plus.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop the Shipping & Receiving team with a hands-on approach.
Oversee daily shipping and receiving to ensure on-time, accurate shipments.
Maintain ERP records and reflect material movement accurately in the system.
Drive continuous improvement to reduce costs and improve customer service.
Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Purchasing and other departments to resolve issues.
