Job summary

James Hardie is recruiting a Shipping & Receiving Lead to guide loaders and ensure safe, accurate loading of outbound orders in a 24/7 manufacturing setting. The role reports to the Distribution Supervisor and requires strong leadership and attention to detail.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in shipping/receiving, solid computer skills (Word/Excel/Outlook) and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Base pay starts at $27.00/hr with a 10% shift differential and a $3,000 bonus plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of experience in shipping/receiving.
• Demonstrated leadership and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversees loading and warehouse activity.
• Directs/monitors shipping loaders to meet department goals.
• Provides training to ensure policy adherence.
• Operates forklift to load outbound shipments safely.
• Maintains paperwork for all loads.
• Verifies outbound shipments match packing lists and are damage-free.
• Keeps warehouse and loading areas clean and organized (6S).
• Generates shipment paperwork using computer-based applications.
