Job summary

US Tech Force is urgently seeking a Shipping and Receiving Team Lead in the Appleton, WI area to oversee inbound and outbound shipments for a metal fabrication company. This role drives efficient material flow, maintains safety standards, and coordinates with production and purchasing to meet project timelines.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in shipping/receiving with leadership experience, familiarity with freight carriers, and forklift operation.

Qualifications

3+ years shipping/receiving/warehouse/logistics experience.
Previous leadership or team lead experience preferred.
Experience in metal fabrication industry ideal.
Proficient with email, shipping software, and data entry.

Responsibilities

Receive and process incoming shipments of all sizes, including trucks, trailers, pallets, and packages.
Prepare palletized shipments, large orders, and packaged materials for outbound delivery.
Create and process Bills of Lading (BOLs) for outgoing freight shipments.
Coordinate shipping through various carriers, including UPS, FedEx, and trucking companies.
Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient shipping and receiving area.
Complete and organize receiving documentation for the Purchasing Department.
Collaborate with production, welding, painting, purchasing, and project management teams to ensure smooth material flow.
