Job summary

Responsibilities

• Material handling: assist with loading, unloading, sorting, and movement of freight on the docks.
• Receiving: inspect inbound freight for damage, verify counts against packing slips, and direct materials to quality or putaway area.
• Shipping: manage final staging and loading of outbound trailers, ensuring freight matches final manifest and is secure.
• Inventory staging: move received goods out of dock area and stage finished goods for carrier pickup.
• Safety: enforce dock safety procedures and coordinate with operators and drivers in high-traffic zones.
