The Shipping/Receiving and Crate Building Assistant role helps assemble crates, prepare items for shipment, verify documents, and maintain inventory accuracy in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, basic familiarity with tools, and a willingness to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in shipping/receiving or crate building is preferred but not required.
• Reading blueprints and using hand/power tools is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing products for shipment, including labeling and weighing.
• Verify and document shipments, bills of lading, and packing lists.
• Construct crates and pallets according to specifications and packaging needs.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with counts and reporting.
• Collaborate with warehouse teams and ensure safety and compliance.
