Job summary

Qualifications

Job description

Shipping & Receiving Coordinator - 2nd Shift

Receive and ship products and provide support to management.

  • Receive products according to purchase orders
  • Process receipts within 48 hours
  • Maintain organized files and records of receipts
  • Communicate with departments, carriers, and vendors regarding receipts and shipments
  • Process returned materials (RMA’s)
  • Sort and re-stack products as necessary
  • Schedule inbound deliveries with carriers
  • Investigate missing materials in SAP and warehouse locations
  • File claims with carriers
  • Ensure unloading/loading procedures are followed in receiving
  • Utilize Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Perform various administrative duties as assigned

  • Self-starter with excellent follow-up and organizational skills
  • Flexibility, attention to time management, and accuracy
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work harmoniously with diverse teams
  • Proficiency in Windows applications (Excel and Word)
  • 1-2 years experience in shipping, receiving, or stores management
Physical requirements
  • Lift up to 40 lbs infrequently
  • Ability to work in fluctuating temperature environments
Preferred education and training
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • On-the-job training in shipping procedures, computer software, inventory controls, forklift/walkie certification, manufacturing processes, and purchasing functions
