Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC in Laredo, Texas is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join an excellent team in our new operation. This role suits safety‑minded individuals who want to excel in a warehouse environment and contribute to efficient inbound and outbound processes.

The schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm, with weekends/holidays as required. The base rate is $19.66 per hour, and the role includes PTO, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K and associate discounts.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of general office experience required.
• 2+ years of warehouse clerk experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required
• AS400 experience preferred
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Various office and administrative duties, including accounts payable/receivable, collections, and office supplies.
• Maintain database and generate miscellaneous reporting.
• Join safety team as required by location.
• Prioritize workload and adjust as needed.
• Communicate with drivers, operators, customers on site, and leadership.
• Daily use of Outlook, Excel, and Blue Yonder.
• Look for missing product in storage locations.
• Work with checkers to ensure accurate receipt of inventory.
• Audit inbound receipts, physically and through receipt documentation.
• Input data into WMS and other applications.
• Audit existing data for inaccuracies.
• Identify, log, and document potential damages.
• Assist with daily and weekly reports.
• Other projects and tasks assigned by supervision.
