Job summary

V2X Inc. is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to support logistics operations. The role involves receiving shipments, verifying against documentation, and processing records per local policies.

Candidates must have a High School Diploma, U.S. citizenship proof, a valid REAL ID, a CAC, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior GCSS-Army and CMOS experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid NACI Tier 1 Public Trust.
• Must have a valid Common Access Card (CAC).
• Must be able to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship (birth certificate or passport).
• Must maintain driving privileges aboard Fort Bragg.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders by comparing items and quantities against DD Form 1348 documents.
• Ensure shipments are properly packaged, identified, and loaded for transport.
• Prepare and record goods shipped (DD Form 1348, bill of lading; CMOS tracking).
• Complete web-based GCSS-Army training.
• Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to complete tasks.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and perform other duties as assigned.

The Shipping/Receiving Clerk is responsible for receiving and unloading incoming goods, verifying goods with documentation, and process the documentation in accordance with local policies.

Responsibilities

Major Job Activities

• Verifying that orders are accurately filled by comparing items and quantities of goods gathered for shipment against the DD Form 1348 documents.


• Ensure that shipments are properly packaged, identified with shipping information, and loaded into transporting vehicles.


• Prepare and keep records of goods shipped, e.g., DD Form 1348, bill of lading. CMOS tracking information.


• Completed the web-based training for the Global Combat Support System Army (GCSS-ARMY).


• Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to accomplish assigned tasks.


• Must be able to lift 50lbs.


• Perform other duties as assigned.

Working Environment

• Must be able to work in indoor and outdoor environments with various climates.


• Warehouse environment with limited heat or cooling abilities.

Physical Activities

• Work will require lifting up to 50 lbs.; stooping; climbing; prolonged standing; prolonged sitting; and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical or biological agents.


• Activities will revolve around extended periods of sitting and communicating via email and telephone.


• Visual acuity necessary for computer work and data manipulation.


• Employee use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required is certain areas. Such PPE includes but is not limited to head, foot, hand, torso, respiratory, vision and hearing protective devices.


• Must comply with OSHA, EPA, Fire Regulations and published Company work rules.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.


• Must have a valid REAL ID State Driver’s License with no restrictions.


• Must have a valid NACI Tier 1 Public Trust.


• Must have a valid Common Access Card (CAC).


• Must be able to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship, such as a birth certificate or a U.S. Passport.


• Must be able to maintain driving privileges aboard the Fort Bragg Installation.

Experience

• 0 years of experience


• Storage and warehouse functions and associated experience in computer support systems applicable to the requisition, receipt, storage, issue, and associated warehousing functions.


• Experience with the GCSS-Army system.


• Experience with CMOS.


• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access preferred.

Skills

• Ability to prioritize, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and interact at all levels.


• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; ability to work in a team-based, highly collaborative environment.


• Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
