Job summary

Stone-Bridge-Personnel is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk for a retail store in Texas. The role requires shipping/receiving experience, data entry, and basic pricing and distribution tasks. You will help with inventory control and placing re-orders in a warehouse setting.

The position involves lifting up to 50 lbs, working with Word/Excel and a POS system, and collaborating with store departments. This is a part-time, on-site role with afternoon hours.

Responsibilities

Shipping/Receiving experience is required.

Job Purpose:

Receive all goods into the stores, price, distribute to departments, ship necessary orders & help in inventory control and ordering

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receive all shipments into the warehouse
• Data entry into Point-of-Sale system
• Match packing list with products shipped
• Price items and distribute to departments
• Ship any orders taken in
• Help with inventory and inventory control
• Help in placing re-orders

Required Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of Word & Excel
• Ability to Learn new Software easily
• Capable of handling warehouse duties, including lifting boxes up to 50 lbs., packing & shipping boxes
• Self-motivated – does not need to micro-managed
• Accurate with numbers and works at a good pace.
• Communicates well with others – not afraid to ask questions or help.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Sewing knowledge

Working Conditions:

Tues - Friday - 9:00am to 3-5pm depending on day. This is not a full-time job. No shipping occurs on Saturdays. Closed Sunday & Monday

Pay:

$13.00 hr.
