Responsibilities

• Receives and inspects incoming shipments; records discrepancies.
• Counts items to ensure correct quantity received.
• Maintains shipping/receiving records and generates routine reports.
• Tracks packages and performs related computer functions.
• Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Traces lost shipments and initiates proof of delivery documents.
• Allocates storage space for incoming shipments.
• Assists in moving items to storage areas and oversees storage activities.
• Delivers items to requisitioning departments and secures required signatures.
• Keeps storage areas clean and organized.
