Job summary

Custom Fabricating & Supplies is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to help move materials and customer orders efficiently within our Wisconsin facility. You will prepare, package, and ship orders, verify details, and receive incoming materials with a focus on accuracy and safety.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, basic math and computer skills, and a cooperative team mindset to support operations, production, and delivery timelines. Forklift experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, or receiving environments preferred.
• Forklift or powered industrial equipment experience preferred.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, and ship customer orders accurately and on time.
• Verify orders, quantities, and shipping information before shipment.
• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials and products.
• Match incoming shipments to packing slips and document discrepancies.
• Move materials to proper warehouse locations and maintain inventory organization.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment.
• Work closely with Operations and Production teams to support customer delivery timelines.
• Process shipping documents and coordinate shipments through UPS, FedEx, LTL carriers, and other transportation providers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow company quality procedures and warehouse best practices.
