Coperion is currently seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support our location in Whitewater, WI. This position supports the activities of the Receiving and Shipping department by unloading trucks, inspecting, signing and updating the computer system for received goods. Custom builds or prepares packaging for secure and safe shipment of products. Shipper generates bill of lading, packing lists on orders, arranges trucking services and maintains database.

Schedule: 1st shift Monday – Friday 6:30am – 3pm

Responsibilities:

  • Unload trucks using forklift and/or overhead crane
  • Inspection of received goods for quality and quantity
  • Prepare and package materials in prefabricated cartons, custom built wooden crates, and/or skids and pallets
  • Generate packing list for shipment
  • Arrange truck services and UPS shipments
  • Support our lean manufacturing process with 5S
  • Adhere to ISO 9001 company standards, work instructions and procedures

Required Education/Experience/Skills:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 months to a year of shipping and receiving knowledge
  • Effective computer skills
  • Forklift certification a plus
  • Detail oriented, effective organization and planning
  • Ability to time manage to meet deadlines
  • Use judgement and independent thinking
  • Dependability a must
