Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk in Hidalgo, Texas.

The role is responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing tools, equipment, and products within storage facilities, and performing routine semi-skilled maintenance tasks across multiple locations. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–3 years of related experience, and a willingness to obtain forklift certification.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of related experience or training, or equivalent.
• Forklift license preferred or willingness to become certified.
• Strong communication and cross-department collaboration.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment including company/work vehicles.
• General shipping and receiving tasks: UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS, and various truck deliveries and pickups.
• Includes the proper completion of required paperwork and legal compliance.
• Packing and shipping various products and parts appropriately, efficiently, and with regard to how the customer will receive them.
• Maintain multiple facility locations through janitorial duties, updates, regular building maintenance, and miscellaneous maintenance repairs.
• Maintain inventories in a clean, organized fashion.
