Job summary

TSC in Huntsville, AL is seeking an Experienced Shipping/Receiving Clerk to support our production division. The role requires handling inbound and outbound materials, ensuring accurate receipt against purchase orders, and maintaining secure inventory.

You will work closely with vendors and internal teams, lift up to 50 pounds, and comply with security and background checks. US citizenship is required for clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 1+ years of experience in a similar role involving warehouse operations, shipping, and receiving tasks.
• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensures materials are received from proper vendors, delivered to inventory, and that finished goods are shipped in a timely manner.
• Reviews receipt of all materials to ensure purchase orders are open and the quality of materials received is correct.
• Maintains security and accountability of materials and goods with inventory control.
• Ensures materials are available to meet production schedules and/or products are shipped as per marketing schedules.
• Establishes and modifies operational methods and procedures.
• Maintains documentation reflecting the effectiveness and efficiency of department activities.
• Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure efficient operation of the function.
• The employee frequently stands, walks, and uses hands to manipulate objects; may lift up to 50 pounds.
