Job summary

Dover Food Retail (DFR) in South Chesterfield, VA is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk II to coordinate loading/unloading finished cases and manage shipments to customer sites and between Hillphoenix facilities.

You'll handle shipping paperwork, data entry, international paperwork, inventory awareness, and communication with drivers and cross-functional teams. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems is required; physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and occasional heavy cases.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years in shipping/receiving or related role.
• Experience with freight carriers and bill of lading.
• Proficient in MS Office; ERP experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate loading/unloading of finished goods with internal and external vendors.
• Prepare shipping paperwork and ensure on-time delivery.
• Enter shipment data into computer systems for tracking.
• Complete international shipping paperwork when needed.
• Work with teams to address customer issues and returns.
• Direct loading team according to schedule and inventory updates.
• Communicate with over-the-road drivers and vendors.
• Assist with other duties and maintain accuracy in records.
