Job summary

The State of Wyoming is seeking a Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Clerk I to service retail licensees by accurately picking, packing, and shipping wines and spirits. This role demands physical stamina and precise use of handheld devices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of progressive work experience (typically in Purchasing or Inventory).
• Associate's Degree (typically in Finance).
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Pick bottles and full cases of product using handheld devices.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including tuggers, pallet jacks, and forklifts (if certified).
• Verify product quantities and inspect for damages or defects.
• Stage completed orders in designated areas for palletization and shipping.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.
• Meet daily productivity and accuracy targets.
• Report discrepancies, damaged goods, or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Conduct regular and/or spot-check inventories of merchandise, supplies, or equipment.
• Maintains accurate records and logs.
