The State of Vermont is seeking a motivated Warehouse Specialist to support the Liquor Warehouse team. This role uses a computerized Warehouse Management System (WMS) to safely pick, pack, and ship fragile liquor cases, unload inbound pallets, and document breakage and shortages.

The incumbent will lift 40-50 lb cases, operate a forklift or order picker, and perform labeling and staging audits to verify accuracy before loading outbound shipments.

Qualifications

• No educational requirements or previous experience needed.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• Experience managing inventory or warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Use a computerized WMS to pick, pack, and ship fragile liquor cases.
• Unload inbound pallets with a forklift or order picker and document breakage.
• Place stock in correct locations and perform staging audits for accuracy.
• Pick outbound orders with handheld scanners and label accurately.
• Conduct split-case packing and labeling for shipments.
• Lift and move 40-55 lb cases on a daily basis.
