A leading company seeks a Warehouse Associate to verify incoming and outgoing shipments, manage materials, and ensure safe handling and packing. The role includes physical operation of handling equipment, documentation, and teamwork under minimal supervision. Candidates should possess solid communication skills and a high school diploma, along with required experience in a warehouse setting.
Description:
Verifies the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders. Compares identifying information with bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records. Verifies that materials received are as ordered. May route incoming items within the company as directed. May utilize hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, overhead crane, or other handling equipment to move material to and from and within the facility. Maintains related records. May adapt procedures, processes, tools, equipment, and techniques to meet the more complex requirements of the position. Duties and tasks are frequently nonroutine. Resolves most questions and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher levels. Works under minimal supervision. May assist in orienting and training lower-level employees.
