Job summary

BMW of Denver is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to maintain accurate shipping and receiving records and keep an organized work area. You will carry out assignments from the department manager and administer internal procedures and reports.

Responsibilities include recording items shipped and received, processing shipments, receiving items, communicating status to internal customers, handling correspondence, and ensuring safety and proper tracking of all shipments.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a shipping/receiving role.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and a valid driver license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of items shipped and received.
• Process items for shipment according to established guidelines and procedures.
• Receive items according to established guidelines and procedures.
• Communicate incoming and outgoing status to appropriate internal customers and managers.
• Handle correspondence as directed by Dept. Manager.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient work area.
• Ensure effective tracking of shipments.
• Handle selected customer complaints.
• Follow all company safety policies and report any accidents.
