Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable Shipping & Receiving Clerk with forklift experience to join a Troy, MI manufacturing team on 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM). The role involves managing shipments, loading/unloading, inventory control, and data entry using company software.

Candidates should be detail-oriented, able to work independently or in a team, and comfortable in a warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift (hi-lo) experience required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to maintain inventory records and perform cycle counts.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn company software systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage the shipment and receipt of incoming and outgoing products, materials, and supplies.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Sort, organize, and stock incoming inventory.
• Maintain accurate inventory logs and daily count sheets.
• Verify shipments and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Utilize computer systems to track inventory and shipping information.
• Assist with warehouse organization and inventory management.
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
