Aerotek in West Des Moines, IA is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to load/unload building products, verify documentation, and keep shipments on schedule. You will operate forklifts, stage inventory, and support inbound materials while maintaining safety and quality in a fast-paced facility.

The role requires attention to detail, reliable attendance, and the ability to work in a team. The position is contract-to-hire with a daytime shift and potential overtime based on project needs.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in warehouse, shipping, receiving, or material handling preferred.
• Ability to read shipping paperwork and work orders.

Mansioni

• Load and unload products onto trailers safely.
• Verify orders and shipping documentation for accuracy.
• Secure loads to prevent damage during transport.
• Inspect products for quality and report damage.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Stage materials and organize inventory in designated locations.
• Assist with receiving inbound materials and inventory replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow safety standards.
• Work with production, shipping, and warehouse teams to meet schedules.
• Read and follow work orders and production instructions.
• Perform general labor, production, inspection, and coating tasks as needed.
