Qualifications

• 1–2 years of prior clerical experience in warehousing/invoicing.
• Strong listening and clear communication skills.
• Effective communication with internal purchasing, sales, local and remote locations.
• Physical stamina for lifting, bending and standing for prolonged periods.
• Organizational skills – keeping records up to date for quick information retrieval.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize demands from various sources.
• Problem-solving skills – staying calm and addressing unanticipated situations.
• Correct spelling, grammar and punctuation.

Responsibilities

• Data entry and maintenance of spreadsheets, including creation of formulas.
• Manage communications with shipping carriers to book shipments.
• Prepare custom paperwork.
• Apply knowledge of tariff codes and DOC regulations.
• Handle invoicing.
• Investigate claims such as shortages.
• Use international terminology (EX-Works – EAC-USMCA).
• Carry out tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Manager or Customer Service Department.
