Lakeside International, L.L.C. in Milwaukee – Central Warehouse is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to manage daily inbound shipments, verify quantities and part numbers, and ensure accurate receiving, inventory integrity, and timely transfer of parts.

This full-time role requires basic data entry, forklift experience, and strong attention to detail. You will pick, pack, and ship orders, maintain safety standards, and support cycle counts in a busy warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience is preferred.
• Forklift experience or willingness to become certified.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound shipments accurately and in a timely manner; verify quantities and part numbers; document and report discrepancies.
• Meet dock-to-stock expectations to ensure parts are available for customer orders and intercompany transfers.
• Pick, package, and stage orders accurately to minimize shipping errors and damage.
• Load and verify daily shuttle trucks to ensure accurate and on-time intercompany transfers.
• Load outbound shipments on time to meet transfer cutoffs.
• Ensure paperwork complete daily (BOLs, packing lists, receiving docs).
• Provide documentation supporting freight claims and vendor credits.
• Follow and reinforce DC safety standards (forklift, PPE, dock safety).
• Escalate unsafe conditions immediately.
• Follow established SOPs and WIs.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse, dock, and receiving areas.
• Put away received inventory promptly and accurately.
• Maintain bin location accuracy and report location discrepancies.
• Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts and inventory projects.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned to support warehouse and dealership operations.

Compensation: $20.00 - $22.00 / hour

Description

Execute daily warehouse receiving, fulfillment, and inventory activities to ensure accurate receiving, efficient picking, clean documentation, safe operations, and timely transfer of parts while supporting inventory integrity and departmental service levels.

Responsibilities

Receiving and Dock-to-Stock

• Receive inbound shipments accurately and in a timely manner; verify quantities and part numbers; document and report discrepancies.
