JOB SUMMARY

The Shipping/Receiving Clerk is the individual responsible for the accurate and timely receiving of customer supplied goods and shipping of orders. They are responsible for ensuring the customer supplied goods received agree to the packing slip and then notify the Account Coordinators that the goods have been received. They are responsible for shipping the finished embroidered goods out on a timely basis.

The Shipping/Receiving Clerk will:

1. Match the packing slip of the goods received.
2. Complete the receiving log accurately and on a timely basis.
3. Ensure the finished embroidered goods are shipped on a timely basis in accordance with the customer’s requests.
4. Perform other duties as assigned.
5. Prepare physical shipment and all documents.
6. Properly stage pallets, produce wraps or boxes (as appropriate to order) and label finished goods for shipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
2. Basic math skills and ability to read labels and numerical statistics.
3. Must be able to multi-task with the ability to handle many activities simultaneously.
4. Experience operating a forklift.
5. Computer efficient.
6. Read and understand English is a MUST.
7. Attention to detail.

Requirements

1. The minimum education required is a high school diploma or equivalent.
2. Ability to stand for long periods of time.
3. Must be able to frequently lift 50 pounds.
