Job summary

Milwaukee Tool in Wisconsin is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate to process domestic and international shipments, inspect freight, operate forklifts, and maintain accurate records. You will work closely with safety and trade compliance teams to ensure proper handling of shipments and documentation.

This role requires strong time management, teamwork, and a proactive approach to detail and problem solving in a high-volume industrial environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Shipping: process domestic and international shipments, returns, and freight forwarding.
• Hazmat shipments handled per 49 CFR compliance.
• Maintain interdepartmental communication with safety and trade compliance teams.
• Stock and rotate materials for shipping functions.
• Provide shipping consultation and guidance to personnel; recycling instructions.
• Maintain archives of outbound shipping records; create service requests for pallet/crate fabrication.
• Identify and communicate shipping discrepancies to requestors.
• Receiving: inspect, offload, and receive truck freight; operate forklifts and hand tools.
• Facilitate package redirects and return shipments; track packages.
• Maintain accurate tracking records and perform date audits in tracking software.
• Use internal tracking systems to support internal groups and manage packages.
• Perform daily drop zone audits and ensure security of facility.
