Trane Technologies is hiring a Shipping/Receiving Clerk for the Rushville, Indiana location. You will handle all shipping/receiving transactions, manage inventory and coordinate with vendors to support timely customer service operations.

The role requires 4+ years of related experience or a HS diploma/GED with equivalent work history. Overtime is required as needed; Oracle and MS Office skills are preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Complete all shipping/receiving transactions and report in a timely, efficient manner.
• Troubleshoot shipping/receiving issues as they arise.
• Manage inventory of shipping supplies and coordinate with vendors.
• Interact with external customers and vendors regarding inquiries.
• Strive to meet and exceed customer requirements.
• Manage scrap recycling processes and records with the recycling center.
• Communicate clearly with internal and external associates via written and oral methods.
• Assist Supervisor/Manager with special customer requests and investigations.
• Utilize the Shipping/Receiving system and tools.
• Support QMS by delivering quality products and services and meeting quality objectives.
• Pursue operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Identify PO issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Manage bin locations and optimize storage.
• Notify material planners when to reorder visually managed items.
• Transfer material between plant and offsite warehouse.
• Maintain safety standards.
• Flexible to work overtime/weekends as required.

What's In It For You

The Shipping/Receiving Clerk will be responsible for completing all shipping/receiving transactions for the Rushville, Indiana location.

What You Will Do

• Responsible for completing all shipping/receiving transactions and reporting in a timely and efficient manner.
• Efficient problem solving when shipping/receiving issues arise.
• Manage inventory of all shipping supplies as well as coordination with vendors.
• Responsible for working with external customers and vendors as it relates to customer service inquiries.
• Works to consistently meet and exceed customer requirements.
• Manage scrap recycling processes including managing relationship with recycling center and maintaining record keeping.
• Effectively communicate with all levels of internal company and external associates, both written and orally, including the telephone.
• Assist Supervisor/Manager on special customer requests, and investigation of customer service inquiries to ensure they are properly handled and resolved.
• Leverage and utilize the system and tools created for Shipping/Receiving
• Supports the Quality Management Systems (QMS) by delivering quality products and services and meeting quality objectives.
• Continuously strives for operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Identifies any PO issues and works with team on corrective actions.
• Manages bin locations including optimization
• Responsible for identifying and notifying material planners of when to reorder visually managed items in the stockroom.
• Manages process of transferring material back and forth between the plant and offsite warehouse.
• Maintain safety standards.
• Other duties, as assigned.
• Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.

What You Will Bring

• High School Diploma or General Equivalent Diploma (GED) with relevant work experience preferred.
• In lieu of a diploma or equivalent, must have at least 4 years relevant work experience.
• Required to work overtime when needed.
• Oracle experience preferred.
• Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Suite applications (ex. Outlook, Excel).
