Job summary

Brabazon is seeking a Warehouse Receiving Clerk to verify shipments against orders, perform clerical receiving tasks, and assist with general warehouse duties. You will handle loading, packing, and freight documentation, while maintaining inventory records and ensuring safety and organization within the facility.

The role emphasizes accurate cycle counting, timely order processing, and reliable attendance. Candidates should be prepared to support other duties as needed in a fast-paced warehouse

Qualifications

• Experience with receiving merchandise against orders and PO reconciliation.
• Ability to fill out bills of lading and shipping documents.
• Strong attention to inventory accuracy and cycle counts.
• Reliable, punctual with excellent attendance.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine receiving clerical work per standard procedures.
• Verify receipts against POs, packing slips, and bills of lading.
• Load and prepare Brabazon freight shipments; fill out bills of lading.
• Process customer orders daily and inform supervisor of shortages.
• Maintain UPS and FedEx records and report damages.
• Conduct daily cycle counts aiming for 95%+ inventory accuracy.
• Ensure warehouse and equipment security and maintenance.
• Keep equipment clean and in good working condition.
• Maintain a clean shipping desk area.
• Exhibit excellent attendance and positive attitude.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Summary:

Examine contents of incoming and/or outgoing shipments and compare with records such as manifests, invoices or orders to verify accuracy of shipments. Assist with general maintenance of the facility and on special projects.

Essential Functions:

The list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.

• Perform routine receiving clerical work following standard procedures associated with receiving of merchandise shipped to Brabazon by UPS, FedEx and LTL.
• Verify and record receipt on receiving slips, checking product against Company’s purchase orders, packing slips or bill of lading. Must notify the person who wrote order concerning any shortages or incorrect merchandise received.
• Assumes responsibility for loading and preparation of all Brabazon freight shipments including filling out bill of lading.
• Responsible for filling customer orders daily. Must notify supervisor of orders not shipped.
• Responsible for keeping UPS and FedEx records. Document and notify supervisor of any damage.
• Perform daily cycle count. Maintain a 95% or better inventory accuracy.
• Assumes responsibility for security and maintenance of warehouse, merchandise and equipment contained therein.
• Keeps all equipment in good working condition.
• Empties waste baskets in warehouse and keeps shipping desk area clean.
• Excellent attendance, punctuality and a positive attitude are essential to this position.
• All other duties as assigned.
