Job summary

Barnes Aerospace West Chester division is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support material flow across the plant. The role handles packing, shipping documents, inventory counts, and coordinated deliveries and pickups on a fast-paced manufacturing floor.

The candidate will maintain MRP data, verify documents, and communicate issues with corrective actions. A minimum of 5 years of computer experience in manufacturing (MRP, MS Word/Excel/Outlook/Teams, Adobe Acrobat) and forklift experience

• 5+ years of computer experience in a manufacturing setting, including MRP systems, MS Word/Excel/Outlook/Teams and Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to build effective relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Maintains Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system with daily delivery information.

Barnes Aerospace West Chester division is seeking a Shipping& Receiving Clerk. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of duties that support

1st shift, Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM.

Core Responsibilities:

Maintains Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system with daily delivery information

Checks, verifies and records results of required information on planning, shipping and receiving documents including dimensional checks here appropriate.

Communicates significant problems and/or deviation to responsible person with corrective action for concurrence and resolution.

Orders packaging materials.

Package finished product and preparing shipping documents, etc. to support the flow in and out of the facility.

Perform cycle counting and coordinating the annual Physical Inventory.

May perform other duties as required.

Process all material returns from customers and suppliers.

Deliver and pick-up parts from customers and suppliers.

Forklift experience required.

Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods of time and working primarily standing.

Qualifications:

Ability to build effective relationships with customers and suppliers.

Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
