Job summary

Panasonic Corporation of North America is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to handle incoming and outgoing shipments, assemble boxes, and assist in the shipping department. You’ll work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and ensure accurate data entry in our computer system.

Responsibilities include unloading shipments, receiving equipment from vendors, preparing pallets, and maintaining a clean receiving area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of electronic parts.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.

The primary responsibility of the Shipping/Receiving Clerk is to handle incoming and outgoing shipments and assist in the overall functions of the shipping department. Duties include assembling boxes, addressing packages, unpacking and receiving merchandise, preparing items for shipment, arranging for the transportation of products, and shipping merchandise or material.

Primary Responsibilities

• Unload multiple shipments from delivery trucks throughout the day
• Receive, verify, and distribute equipment from various vendors to the technicians
• Use computer based system to enter/record required data
• Prepare pallets for shipment and arrange for delivery, when required
• Maintain the warehouse/receiving area in clean and orderly manner
• Assist with periodic inventory audits and maintaining accurate inventory records
• Assist in the shipping department, when needed

The wage range of$16.00 - $18.00 is just one component of Panasonic’s total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, and location. The minimum hourly wage for this role will be the greater of the posted range, or minimum wage for the location where the employee will be working, subject to local minimum wage requirements.
