Job summary

Summit Truck Bodies, a quality manufacturer of custom designed service and lube truck bodies, is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk in Wathena, KS. The role requires shipping/receiving experience, attention to detail, and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, preparing shipping documents, and ensuring orders match invoices. A benefits package is offered including health, 401(k), and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with good standing MVR.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse role.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain shipping documents.
• Receive freight shipments from various carriers.
• Ensure shipments delivered to the warehouse align with orders and bill of lading or invoice.
• Notify inventory manager of discrepancies.
• Unpack shipments and distribute items to assigned locations.
• Pull parts as assigned per work order.
• Pull parts, pack and ship customer orders as designated on invoices.
• Assist with cycle counts.
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and wear PPE.
• Participate in continuous improvement programs.

We are looking for a Shipping & Receiving Clerk with shipping and receiving experience to assist with freight.
