CTDI Careers is seeking a Shipping-Receiving Clerk in Indiana. The role handles the flow of incoming and outgoing shipments in the warehouse, operating on 1st shift (6:00AM - 2:30PM, Monday - Friday) with a pay rate of $18.44 per hour.

Responsibilities include verifying records, preparing items for shipment, and maintaining orderly, safe work areas. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work independently, and comfortable using basic computer programs for data entry in a fast-paced

Responsabilidades

• Count, weigh, and verify items against bills of lading, invoices, orders.
• Unpack, examine, route shipments, reject damaged items, and coordinate with shippers.
• Report defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisor.
• Perform computer functions to track goods.

Shipping-Receiving Clerk is responsible for managing the flow of incoming and outgoing shipments in the warehouse.

1st Shift: 6:00AM - 2:30PM, Monday - Friday

Pay Rate: $18.44

Responsibilities

• Responsible for verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments
• Prepare items for shipment by performing the following duties to quality/productivity standards, while ensuring that all shipments are properly labeled and packaged.
• Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
• Unpacks, examines and routes incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
• Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Performs all computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods.
• Responsible for keeping an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand at all times.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Responsible for following warehouse safety regulations.
• All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports.

Required Skills and Experience

• Comfortable working autonomously.
• Thoroughness and attention to detail in task completion.
• Competent in maintaining accurate and organized records.
• Basic knowledge of computers programs for entering data.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus.
• Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
• Written and verbal communication skills.

Educational Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

• Warehouse environment.
• Must be able to lift and/or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Requires extended periods of standing and walking.
• Requires bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, and reaching.
