Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies in Everett, WA is hiring for a warehouse associate with forklift duties on 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm) and 4th shift (Fri-Sun 6am-6pm). You will unload materials, verify PO, label and log inventory, and keep work areas safe.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and at least 1 year of sit-down forklift experience. You must be able to work in a hot shop environment and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming materials and compare packing slips to purchase orders.

• Assist with miscellaneous tasks as assigned.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

• Receives and unloads incoming materials and compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment; may process return shipments from customers.
• Sorts, counts, packages, labels, insures, unpacks, and/or logs inventory which is shipped or received.
• Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel.
• May operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift in loading and unloading supplies and equipment
• Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) Required
• Forklift Experience (sit-down preferred) - 1 year

Temperatures in the work environment can fluctuate with outside weather conditions. Due to the manufacturing environment, Personal Protection Equipment may be required including safety glasses, goggles, aprons, rubber boots, gloves, and a respirator (provided by Company).
