Job summary

Legacy Bakehouse in Wisconsin is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support warehouse operations, receive and inspect materials, and ensure accurate shipping of finished goods. You will set up carrier shipments, maintain FIFO, and assist with inventory tasks.

The Role

We're hiring a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support the daily operations of our warehouse and shipping/receiving dock. In this hands‑on role, you'll handle incoming materials, outgoing finished goods, and keep our warehouse safe, organized, and compliant with food safety standards.

What You'll Do

• Receive and inspect incoming goods, trailers, and documentation.
• Store and organize raw materials and supplies according to food safety standards.
• Load, ship, and verify all outgoing finished goods orders.
• Set up FedEx, UPS, and customer shipments.
• Maintain FIFO rotation on all finished goods.
• Verify identification of all individuals entering the shipping/receiving dock.
• Complete and maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory paperwork.
• Assist with month‑end inventory counts and regular cycle counts.
• Alert supervisors to unsafe conditions or food safety issues.
• Support other warehouse duties as assigned.

What We're Looking for

• Certified forklift operator.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in warm environments.
• Strong math and record‑keeping skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Prior experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse roles preferred.
• Food manufacturing or SQF experience a plus.
