Job summary

Mitchell Stores in Westport, CT is seeking a full-time Shipping & Receiving associate. You will prepare orders, handle shipments, assist loading dock, and maintain a safe, organized workspace.

The role requires 2 years of shipping/receiving experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid CT driver's license. Work hours are Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with alternating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• 2 years Shipping and Receiving experience required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid CT Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to Lift 30+ lbs daily
• Prepares/completes orders & shipments, packing boxes, tagging & preparing new merchandise.
• Facilitates deliveries from the loading dock.
• Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping work stations, shelving, and loading/unloading areas organized and tidy.
• Keeps calm and organized in a fast paced, high volume environment.
• Attention to detail with strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively with buyers, vendors and sales associates.
• Must be able to quickly pivot with changing deadlines.
• Makes occasional deliveries.

Mitchells Stores is a family-owned luxury retailer known for top class customer service. Become an integral part of the Mitchells Stores business as a full time Shipping & Receiving associate at our Westport Location.

Work schedule is Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 30 p.m. with alternating Saturdays required.
