Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Associate at Seal & Design Inc

Purpose: Responsible for the accurate counting and specification of incoming and outgoing products/materials, as well as final fulfillment activities between the company and customers.

Essential Functions:
  1. Arrive to work on time, as scheduled, and follow the company attendance policy.
  2. Read and interpret customer requirements on pick lists to process outgoing orders accurately in quantity, material, and destination.
  3. Perform cycle counts to reconcile order balances after picking.
  4. Package resale items as directed by pick lists.
  5. Prepare and include proper documentation for shipments in accordance with customer and U.S. customs requirements.
  6. Present completed daily pick lists and shipping forms to the Accounting Department for invoicing and indexing.
  7. Inventory resale items following FIFO procedures and proper location protocols.
  8. Unload incoming materials, reconcile bills of lading, verify received materials against POs, label parts, and input data into ERP system.
  9. Review incoming materials, segregate damaged items, and report variances to supervisors.
  10. Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
  11. Operate material handling equipment safely for order picking, loading, and unloading trucks.
  12. Clean company vehicles and prepare them for deliveries in a safe manner.
  13. Observe safety and security procedures at all times.

Pay: $21-$24/hour

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma and 1-2 years related experience.
  • Knowledge of U.S. Customs tariff codes.
  • Proficiency with business software in a computer-supported environment.
  • Excellent math and language skills.
  • Forklift certification.
