United Radio is seeking a responsible shipping/receiving professional to open and distribute incoming packages, and to package and ship units daily. The role requires a NYS driver’s license and basic computer skills, with opportunities to work late to ensure timely shipments.

Package and ship all out going units so they arrive undamaged at their proper destination. Unpack and distribute all incoming units.

Opening and distribution of all incoming packages.
Keep shipping and garage area clean and safe.
Package and ship units daily.
Keep packages sorted between carriers.
Work late as deemed necessary to ensure all customer units are shipped on time.
Be sure all packages shipped out of United Radio will give customers a positive and professional opinion of our company.
Loading and unloading delivery trucks.
Comply with United Radio's policies and procedures, and quality systems.
Perform additional duties as requested.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Experience desirable but not necessary.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate with other employees.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Must have a valid NYS driver's license.
Must have basic computer skills.
