Shipping & Receiving Associate (Laser Operations)

Location: Landrum, SC
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Position Overview

Our client, a leading manufacturer serving highly technical industries, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join their team. This entry-level position supports shipping, receiving, inventory control, and laser marking operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, have strong attention to detail, and are looking to build a career in manufacturing and logistics.

Key Responsibilities

Shipping & Receiving

Package, label, and prepare products for shipment.
Process shipments using shipping software platforms.
Prepare palletized and freight shipments.
Receive incoming materials and verify deliveries.
Load and unload freight trucks while following safety procedures.

Laser Marking Operations

Review marking instructions and identify part numbers.
Access CNC marking files through a Windows-based system.
Follow work instructions to accurately laser mark products.
Ensure manufacturing lot dates and required information are marked correctly.
Position and stage parts consistently according to engineering specifications.

Inventory & Warehouse Support

Maintain inventory using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) procedures.
Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
Support warehouse organization and material movement activities.

Qualifications

Required

Basic computer skills.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.

Preferred

Previous forklift experience.
Experience in manufacturing, shipping & receiving, warehousing, or logistics.
Familiarity with inventory management and shipping systems.

Work Environment
